The Vintage Locomotive Society’s Prairie Dog Central runs on the ex-Canadian National Grosse Isle sub, northwest of Winnipeg. It’s flat as a board and arrow straight. Former Winnipeg Hydro 4-4-0 #3 and its all-wood consist looks timeless as it crosses the prairie. Even more so when viewed from above in these aerials leaving Grosse Isle.
