In the latest newsletter is a recap of the top ten collections that have been catalogued into the museum’s archive. They contain 36,656 items in all.

During World War II several wooden New York City elevated cars were brought to the San Francisco Bay Area and, with pantographs installed, were pressed into service on a new eastbay shipyard railroad. Two of the cars, Key System 561 and 563, became part of the museum collection. This year they have been cosmetically restored.
