Maine Narrow Gauge Museum can stay until 2017

There are several museums trying to move to new sites and the challenge is always to keep the old site until the new one is ready. The Maine Narrow Gauge Museum has been leasing the old Portland Company complex on the Portland waterfront but had been told the lease would not be renewed. The new site is at Gray, Maine, 18 miles to the north, but it’s not ready. However, the Portland site now has a new owner, who has agreed to extend the museum’s lease until 2017.
