MISSION STATEMENT
The Denver Tramway Heritage Society operates the Denver Trolley in order to preserve the history of Denver’s electric transit system so that future generations will understand the role the Denver Tramway Company played in shaping Denver’s growth and development.

ABOUT
The Denver Trolley offers passengers the opportunity to ride an open trolley car along the scenic South Platte Greenway and see Denver from an open-air “Breezer”! The Trolley is a replica of one of the many electric railway cars that once served the Denver area. Our operators are very knowledgeable about the history of the area in which we operate and delight in relating some interesting facts, which some of the locals don’t even know. Riders of any age will enjoy this unique look into Denver’s past while also exploring its present.

The Denver Trolley operates from Confluence Park (REI) with stops at the Downtown Aquarium, Children’s Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus, and Broncos Stadium at Mile High. Other attractions conveniently located along the Trolley’s route include Elitch Gardens and Downtown Denver, with endless things to do! You can relax and enjoy the 30-minute round-trip ride, or depart at one of our stops and re-board later in the day to complete your ride. The Trolley also serves as the Football Shuttle for all Denver Broncos home games and takes passengers from the Confluence Park station directly to Broncos Bridge at the doorstep of the stadium.

The Denver Trolley’s regular operating season generally runs from late-May through Labor Day, but please check out our website for current season operating dates. During regular operations the Trolley runs five days per week, Thursday through Monday, from 11:00 am. to 5:00 p.m. In addition to public runs, the Denver Trolley also offers private charters. A private ride on the Trolley makes a great addition to any special event, from family reunions, to work outings and birthday parties!

All of our fantastic operators and volunteers are passionate about their role on the Trolley, and we would love to have you join us for a ride!
